Modernized the 2D satellite map experience by refining labeling and other key elements to work seamlessly with Street View and Immersive View, creating a unified imagery experience. Advocated for and secured product buy-in to begin developing and launching the first 3D satellite map.
Overview
The satellite map felt dated and cluttered, underserving a significant portion of Google Maps’ 1 billion+ users.
